Classes are ongoing - beginner through advanced levels.
For Beginners - At the first class, students receive an Introduction to Beading. A list of required tools and materials is distributed to each student for use at future class sessions. Beginners design a bracelet which they take home at the end of the class.
For Returning Students - 2 options are given:
1. Students can participate with the group and create a project which follows an assigned design provided by the instructor. Assignments are handed out each week and through email.
2. Students can bring their own project (i.e. a broken necklace) and work on their own, with periodic guidance and assistance from the instructor.

Projects
At every class, students work on an assigned Jewelry design, using their own materials. It's amazing how many looks are created using one design and changing the bead colors and combinations! At the end of class the instructor provides a project sheet for the upcoming class, detailing the project's design and materials list.
You won't be bored with the designs in these classes. Stringing styles are most popular, but other techniques like bead weaving, macrame, polymer clay, wirework and paper beading are taught.
Skill level for projects are based on the students' prior experience.
Other exciting classes in Crochet, Quilting, Painting and Yoga are offered at Griffing Center. Call 305-893-3771.
