Students made eyeglass cords using colorful beading wire with sparkling beads.
Others made necklaces using wire and adorned them with beads.
The seed bead project brought a new tool into play - the Bead Spinner. This wooden bowl when used with a curved needle and beading thread lets you pick up those tiny seed beads at an incredible rate. I strung an 8 strand necklace in one evening - never would have happened with manual threading of beads. Classes are out for the summer but will resume in September.
