New ideas and designs are being presented to students this session, including macramed Shamballa bracelets, Beadwoven mandalas and multistrand Bead Soup Necklaces.
Students learned the macrame square knot to make this popular bracelet. This example used Pandora-style beads with satin cord and a button closure.

Bead Soup was fun to make. No materials to purchase for this project - just throw together a mixture of beads from our bead boxes, combined with seed beads to make a beautiful multi-strand necklace. Students learned how to use cones to finish the ends of the strands and hide the knotted threads.
New beadweaving was introduced at one location, teaching students circular brick stitch. The Mandala design was presented by Fusion Beads in their Inspiration section and inspired one student to repeat this project 7 times!
Other inspiring projects are coming soon. Woven rings with bicone crystals, wire motif necklaces and more are scheduled for the spring session. Reach Amy on the Contact. Us page or call 305-788-0484.
